CDs - discography

SPITTIN' FEATHERS have put together a little CD sampler/demo called "SPILLIN' THE BEANS" which features the following songs:

1. Diggin' My Own Grave
2. Soft Touch
3. Let's Work Together
4. Ain't Got No Money
5. Just Got Paid

Copies of the CD can be obtained at gigs or through this Web site via the CONTACT section.

While you're reading this, five mini Macromedia Flash 'Movies' are being downloaded into the 'Temporary Internet Files' folder on your computer to enable you to hear compressed MP3 snippets of the tracks from this CD. The files range from only 235KB to 272KB so this won't take very long and as soon as the first song is complete you can click on the 'play' button beside each song title.

You'll need a 'Flash' player to listen to these excerpts, which you should already have - if not, you can get one free from Macromedia. If you happen to need an MP3 player you can download one from any of the buttons below.

If you can't be bothered with all this malarkey then you'll just have to buy a copy of the CD or better still come along to the next gig. (back to top)

says about the CD:

"A nice little five track CD from these blues rock monsters! The best way of describing the band's sound is ZZ Top. The whole CD is very well recorded and includes the tracks "Diggin' My Own Grave", "Soft Touch", "Let's Work Together", "Ain't Got No Money" and "Just Got Paid". All of the tracks are class slices of blues rock but my favourite has to be "Just Got Paid" which has a real cool guitar riff!
I've not managed to catch the guys live, it seems I'm always playing at the same time they are, but this CD has definitely prompted me to make a bigger effort to get along and see them! So to some, if ya like it hard n blue you could do far better than to get yourself a copy of "Spillin' The Beans". The CD also has a very interesting cover!! Buy it to see what I mean!".
